Bleach: Children of Traitors 1 - Congratulations
Chapter 1: Congratulations “Thank you for all your hard work and contributions.” Hatsu and his comrades have waited so long for this moment of acknowledgment and approval. They weren't insanely powerful or ridiculously skilled as the man on the right and the left of their leader. Still, they worked hard. They may be a mere part of the number, just a cog in the machine to bring forth the new world, but they were proud to take part in the world Lord Aizen would create. Those words coming from their leader were an honor and privilege to hear... or rather it would have been if it wasn't followed by death. Hatsu’s eyes widened in a mix of horror and disbelief as he watched the spray of blood from several of his brothers-in-arms. He didn't have time to think, hardly a moment to blink as only one captain was performing the slaughter whilst the other two passively observed. No. Only Aizen observed, Tōsen carried out his will, and Gin... something about him seemed off... or rather more off

Bleach: Children of Traitors || Prologue - Requiem
Prologue: Requiem In a storm of dreams and nightmares there are rarely circumstances as strange or twisted as the birth of a monster. When everything culminates in something unexpected, when one’s goal is to achieve power beyond that of a true deity, it requires creating something that is beyond reason but how to achieve it? Do you gather demons? Angels? Horror beyond reason? Do you strike at God himself? What if you didn’t choose one or another. Taking them all, mixing them together. It was not simple, pseudo-gods were not unknown but difficult to capture without alerting those who held the current power in the world. Capturing a powerful shell, a hollow, was simpler but they were creatures of violence, and understood only violence. Shinigami? Simple enough, trust was a poison. Taking a piece of the monsters within the Dangai was a process that cut through everything until reason was left cut away. It wasn't enough... he'd tried to forge his ultimate weapon with the likes of those
100 YEARS AGO Ichiro’s eyes slowly and weakly opened, and he could barely keep them open as is. He remembered what happened then as the pain of his arm being burned entered his mind and he grunted; barely able to open his mouth as well. However, on his right hand he felt two other hands on top of his, and slowly turned his head; his parents were sitting down in chairs next to the bed, with both of them holding his hand. They were both passed out as well, hunched towards the bed with their heads resting on the bed, and positioned as if they were looking at each other. He did his best to gently squeeze both of their hands, but it was mostly his mother’s as her hand was right on top of his, with his dad’s on top of Hikari’s. That was enough for Hikari to instinctively squeeze Ichiro’s hand as her maternal instinct kicked in, then let out a low, soft moan as she opened her eyes. While the first thing Hikari saw was her husband passed out, she turned her head and looked up

It took some time but Ichiro eventually let everything out and composed himself; and after Akio asked him if he was fine, Ichiro wiped his face clean and they went back to the meeting room. When they got back they saw Hikari and Niara standing in the hallway talking to each other; waiting for the two to come back. As the guys approached them, both girls looked at Ichiro and asked, “Are you alright?” Ichiro’s mother and girlfriend looked at each other and shared a laugh with each other. He had a large, uplifting, smile on his face, and felt he was incredibly lucky to have these two in his life, “I’m fine thanks,” he answered. He gave his mother an embracing hug, and turned to do the same with Niara; though added a quick kiss for her. He then turned back to his dad, “Do you have anything for me? I was gonna go with Niara on her morning patrol and then spend the day together.” “With your permission that is, commander,” Niara added. “Go right ahead; I don’t have

Chapter 5: A Father's Love
The Katsumata Manor was how you would expect a Noble Family’s household to be; large, lavishly decorated, and fairly well protected. For someone’s first time visiting it might be a bit daunting to try and not get lost in here; though for the family and people who were here every day navigating the building was like second nature. Shouta arrived at his home as the sun started to set, and at least exchanged greetings with the guards at the front, as well as any workers he crossed paths with. He made his way to his father’s study, where he knew he would be right now, and to prove his point Shouta heard his father talking in a raised voice; along with a few other voices he knew were trying to calm him down. Shouta stood outside the door and waited for his father and the others to finish what they were talking about. It took a few more minutes, but eventually the group finished their discussion and the door opened. The person who opened the door was an older man with wrinkles a

Central Hill; aptly named as it was the location of the Central 46 chamber, as well as where the members lived with their families. The hill was large enough that the top of it could overlook all of the Seireitei. It was at the top of this hill where all of this was, so needless to say Akio had a large flight of stairs to walk up. At the base of the staircase were two men dressed in white shihakushous, with Zanpakutos on their hips. These were members of the Central Guard, Shinigami who were strong enough to be Captains, and guard Central Hill. The Central Guard was a small group separate from the Gotei 13 who volunteered for the group, mostly because of family. On the other hand, some people thought it was a higher status than being a Captain in the Gotei 13. The two men nodded at Akio and he waved at them, but they never exchanged words at all. It was too late to catch Central 46 in an assembly, so Akio would have to visit two people in the group he trusted most. It
A few months had passed since the coup de ta in soul soul society came to a conclusion. All thirteen sword lords had been executed do in no small part to the young soul reaper Akira Shihoin. Captain-commander Kyoraku personally thanked the boy and offered to enroll him in the court guard squads under the guidance of Captain Soi Fon. Akira had mixed feelings about his life after all that had happened. His girlfriend turned out to be a sleeper agent planted in his life to watch his mother. Worse still was the fact he had to kill her at the price of losing his zanpaktou Raikou. Akira courteously asked the commander for time to come to grips with all that had transpired. Yoruichi had brought Akira to her former home to speak with the clan head currently her little brother Yushiro about being accepted into the clan as a legitimized Shihoin. Akira had left the discussion about his family between his mother and uncle and decided to walk around the estate. “Wow! This place is incredible. What
Kisuke immediately followed after Yoruichi as they flash stepped outside. Yoruichi surveyed the area and counted at least 10 shinobi. They raised their swords and threw several kunai whilst flash stepping around them. Yoruichi caught several of the kunai and threw them in return hitting two of them in the heart. Kisuke drew Benihime and cut three of them down easily, but when he looked around for the other five he noticed they were missing, than it donned on him. “They’re not here for us! Yoruichi! Inside!” Yoruichi turned on her heel and raced inside too late to see Akira being impaled from behind through the chest. “NOOO!” Yoruichi yelled. The Shinobi noticed her and pulled their blade free from Akira’s chest as he slumped to the floor, his hand stained in blood attempting to stem the flow of blood. Yoruichi dashed towards the assailant activating her shunko in a rage, her clothes blew apart as she thrusted forward hitting them directly in the jaw. The force of the blow slammed the
The ground shook violently as a wave of pure lightning engulfed Hiyori, she shielded herself and braced for the impact. Akira stood panting heavily with his sword resting on his shoulder. Hiyori lowered her arm as she looked at the blood flowing from intense burns on her forearm. “Tch! The kid actually managed to hit me and deflect my cero.” Just as Akira was going to flash step towards Hiyori, he felt an intense blow to his stomach as he lumped over unconscious. Yoruichi had intervened before the battle started to become too serious. She heaved Akira over her shoulder while Hiyori walked towards her. “Why’d you stop him? He was just starting to get serious.” Yoruichi looked at the wound on Hiyori’s arm and back at Akira. “He achieved his objective; I should have stopped him before but I wanted to see what he was capable of. Hiyori once he’s recovered, he’ll honor the deal but not until I tell him the truth.” Hiyori scoffed and walked towards the ladder to the shop. Akira was
